Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how YomLabs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the YomMock macOS and iPadOS application (the “App”) and related documentation on this website. YomMock is a local 3D mockup studio: you drop screenshots or recordings onto a device model, direct a camera, and export stills or video.

We designed YomMock around a simple idea: your screenshots, recordings, and project files stay on the device you use. We do not operate a mandatory cloud account service for the App, and we do not sell personal information.

1. Summary

  • No YomMock account required. You download the App and work locally. There is no email signup or YomLabs login.
  • Project content is not sent to a YomMock cloud. Screenshots, recordings, .yommock packages, and exports stay on your Mac or iPad unless you share them yourself.
  • Local files only on device. The App stores projects, preferences, and autosave data on the device for convenience and crash recovery.
  • No advertising or analytics SDKs are bundled in the App for tracking users across apps or websites.
  • Purchases go through Apple. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime unlocks are In-App Purchases. Apple processes payment. We do not receive your card number.

2. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • The YomMock app on Mac and iPad
  • This public website (including this Privacy Policy page), when hosted by us

It does not control Apple’s processing of App Store purchases, receipts, or optional crash diagnostics. If you email us a file, that copy is then in our inbox as well as on your device.

3. Information we collect and process

3.1 Information stored on your device

The App may store the following locally:

  • Project files - portable .yommock packages, including the screens, camera timeline, and scene settings you save
  • Imported media - screenshots and recordings you drop or pick, stored as part of the project or cache
  • App preferences - settings needed to run the studio (for example last device, export options)
  • Autosave and crash recovery data - so you can reopen work after a quit or crash

Editor state while you work is held in memory and is not used to build marketing profiles.

3.2 Information you provide while using the App

When you use YomMock, content you create or import is processed on the device to render mockups and exports. That content may include:

  • Screenshots and stills you drop or pick
  • Screen recordings or video you place on a device display
  • Camera checkpoints, device finish, lid angle, and studio backdrop choices
  • Export files you save (PNG, WebP, H.264, HEVC, ProRes, and similar)

Do not import screenshots, recordings, or project files you are not willing to keep on that device. We cannot see those files unless you send them to us.

3.3 Purchases and Apple services

YomMock Pro is unlocked with In-App Purchase (monthly, yearly, or lifetime). Apple processes the transaction and associates the receipt with your Apple ID so Restore Purchases works on Mac and iPad. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple’s handling of that data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

If Share with App Developers is enabled in iOS or macOS, Apple may send us anonymized crash diagnostics. That is Apple’s system. It is not a tracker inside YomMock, and it does not include your project files.

3.4 This website

This site primarily serves static informational pages (such as this policy). We do not require you to create an account to read it. Standard web server or hosting logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) may be generated by the host that serves the site, for security and reliability. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this policy page.

3.5 Information we do not collect

As implemented today, YomMock does not:

  • Create or require a YomMock user account or email signup
  • Include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or marketing analytics SDKs
  • Upload your projects, screenshots, or recordings to a YomLabs server
  • Access your contacts, precise location, microphone, or camera as part of core product features
  • Sell your personal information

The App may read files you choose to import (screenshots, recordings, or projects) in order to build and export mockups. That access is limited to the items you pick.

4. How information is used

Information processed through YomMock is used to:

  • Render the 3D studio, timeline, and device mockups on your device
  • Save and reopen .yommock projects, including undo, autosave, and crash recovery
  • Export stills and video in the formats you choose
  • Unlock YomMock Pro and restore purchases through Apple
  • Respond if you email support
  • Operate, secure, and debug this website

We do not use App project content for advertising. We do not sell personal information.

5. Sharing and third parties

Data may be shared only as needed to operate the product:

  • Apple - In-App Purchases, Restore Purchases, App Store distribution, and optional crash diagnostics if you have Share with App Developers enabled
  • Infrastructure providers - if we host this website, standard hosting and network providers may process technical logs
  • Email - if you write support@yomlabs.xyz, we receive your address and the contents of the message (and any attachments)
  • Legal requirements - we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

6. Retention

  • On device: Projects, imports, preferences, and autosave data remain until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
  • Exports: Files you save stay wherever you put them, under your control.
  • Support email: We keep a thread long enough to help you, then no longer than needed for that purpose.
  • Website logs: Retained according to the host’s ordinary operations.
  • Apple: Purchase and crash data Apple holds is governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings.

7. Security

YomMock keeps project work on the device. You should treat that device like any other machine that holds source files and product screens:

  • Keep the Mac or iPad under your control
  • Use a device passcode or password
  • Be careful what you attach if you email support
  • Store exports and .yommock files where only the right people can open them

No method of storage is completely secure. Use YomMock only on devices and accounts you trust.

8. Children’s privacy

YomMock is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your situation, you can:

  • Delete projects, imports, and exports on the device, or uninstall the App
  • Stop importing media by not dropping or picking files
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store settings
  • Restore a purchase in the App without creating a YomMock account
  • Review and exercise rights under applicable law (for example access, deletion, or correction) with the party that controls the relevant data - often you, for files on the device, or Apple, for purchases

If you contact us about a privacy request, we will help identify whether the data is controlled by us (for example a support email or website hosting) or by you or Apple.

10. International processing

This website may be hosted in a country other than your own. Apple may process purchase and related data according to Apple’s infrastructure. Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Apple App Store and device permissions

YomMock uses system capabilities only as needed for product features, such as reading files you import, writing projects and exports, and talking to Apple for purchase and restore. We do not use App Tracking Transparency for cross-app advertising, because we do not track you across apps and websites for ads.

Apple may independently collect certain analytics related to App Store distribution according to your device settings and Apple’s policies. That collection is controlled by Apple, not by YomMock.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App or website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
